The committee has been working for the past nine months in developing the AABC Energy Management Process which utilizes a commissioning-based process to serve as the basis for a superior delivery method of holistic energy management. The Guideline will serve as the basis for a new certification program to be administered by the ACG which will offer an Energy Management Professional (EMP) certification to qualified professionals who pass an examination to be created by the Commitee.
