Commissioning
Technician:
This position
shall provide technical support to the Certified Commissioning Authority to deliver building commissioning services for commercial,
institutional, educational, and government construction projects through both new construction commissioning as well as retrocommissionig
of existing buildings and systems.
Sample responsibilities include:

Attend Commissioning Meetings with Contractor(s) and Commissioning Team Members
- Assist Commissioning Authority in writing of prefunctional
checklists

Verify accurate completion of prefunctional checklists with field auditing of Contractor efforts
- Assist Commissioning
Authority in creation of functional performance test forms
- Witness functional performance test completion in field with
Contractors

Maintain Commissioning Issues Log and coordinate resolution of issues with construction team.
- Perform job site construction
observations and document
Desired qualifications of applicant:
- Documented experience
in building commissioning, energy consulting, or HVAC design
- Commissioning certification by national certification body
is a plus (AEE, ACG, etc.)

Good understanding of HVAC systems, control systems, and the ability to troubleshoot issues
- Excellent verbal and
written communication skills including documentation and report writing
